Festive Spirit Returns to St. Johnston: Annual Community Carol Service

As the winter nights draw in and the festive season approaches, there is no better way to embrace the Christmas spirit than by gathering with friends and neighbours for an evening of traditional music and community fellowship.

The St. Johnston Masonic Hall Management Committee is delighted to announce that their Annual Community Carol Service is returning this December. This beloved local tradition offers a wonderful opportunity for residents of St. Johnston and the surrounding areas to come together to celebrate the season.

Event Details

Please mark your calendars for Thursday 4th December 2025. The service will commence at 7.30 pm and will take place at the St. Johnston Masonic Hall, located on Church Lane.

Supporting a Worthy Cause

While the evening is a celebration of Christmas, it also serves a vital charitable purpose. This year, a charity collection will be taken up in aid of PIETA HOUSE. Pieta House provides essential support for people engaging in self-harm or experiencing suicidal ideation, as well as offering bereavement counselling to those who have lost loved ones to suicide. Your generosity on the night will go directly toward supporting these crucial services.

A Warm Welcome for All

This event is open to absolutely everyone. Whether you are a regular attendee or have never visited the hall before, you will be made most welcome.

Following the service, light refreshments will be served. We encourage you to stay for a cup of tea and a chat, as it is the perfect time to catch up with neighbours and enjoy the community atmosphere.

We look forward to seeing a full house on the 4th of December as we ring in the Christmas season together.
