Last night’s Rickety Wheel event will go down as one of our most successful and memorable evenings yet. From the moment our doors opened, it was clear we were in for something special – a full house of enthusiastic guests, all eager to support the lodge and enjoy a fantastic night of community spirit and entertainment.
Overwhelming Generosity and Support
The turnout exceeded all our expectations, but what truly touched our hearts was the incredible generosity shown by everyone who attended. Our guests didn’t just show up; they came ready to support the lodge wholeheartedly, creating an atmosphere of genuine community spirit that reminded us why we do what we do. The energy in the room was electric from start to finish, with laughter and excitement filling every corner.

Throughout the evening, we ran an impressive 16 rounds of prizes, each one met with growing anticipation and cheers. The Rickety Wheel spun again and again, and with each turn, the excitement built. Parents stood alongside their children, all equally invested in the fun, creating those precious family moments that make these events so worthwhile.
The variety of prizes on offer meant there was something for everyone, and watching the joy on people’s faces – young and old alike – as they won their prizes was the real reward for all our planning and preparation.
A Special Guest Joins the Fun
We were particularly honoured to have a special visitor join us for the evening, and they embraced the spirit of the night completely. Not content to simply observe, our distinguished guest took several spins on the wheel themselves, much to the delight of everyone present.
